Company Results

Financial results are typically in the form of a P&L "bottom line," but may also be in the form of P&L elements, such as revenues, or return ratios or other financial factors.

A second requirement to qualify as a viable EP center is that revenues arising from business unit activities, their associated costs, and assets supporting those activities must be objectively identified and accounted for in business unit reporting. Thus, a business unit whose revenues are not separately tracked, or whose labor costs are buried in the overall operating expenses of several business units, would not be considered viable for insufficient data.
