The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2008\/08\/01\/AR2008080102326.html\">government stenographers<\/a> posing as a free press, dutifully typing up the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.latimes.com\/news\/nationworld\/nation\/la-na-anthrax4-2008aug04,0,5223525.story\">selected FBI leaks<\/a> provided by their sources would have us all breathing a sigh of relief; the FBI cracked this case, and saved us from the domestic terrorist.  The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montereyherald.com\/national\/ci_9720307?nclick_check=1\">inquisitive, skeptical press<\/a> would have us reserve judgment, which is what civilized people do, even if the government hadn&#8217;t given us <a href=\"http:\/\/www.montereyherald.com\/national\/ci_9720307?nclick_check=1\">every possible reason<\/a> to be skeptical of their claims.<\/p>\n<p>The FBI says they will release the evidence shortly.  I&#8217;ll believe it when I see it.  Or not.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update:<\/strong> WaPo is finally allowing some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/wp-dyn\/content\/article\/2008\/08\/06\/AR2008080602834.html?hpid=topnews\">expression of skepticism<\/a>.
